With over 29 years of experience in medicine and business, Dr. Ayodele Benson is the current Chairman of Echo-Scan Services Limited, which operates under the trademark, EchoLab.
A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Calabar, Nigeria, Dr. Benson started his career with City Specialist Hospital Kaduna, where he served as Senior Medical Officer-in-charge, rendering general clinical services and surgical interventions.
In 1998, Dr. Benson went on to found Echo-Scan Services Limited in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria with his partner, the late Dr. Anthony Irefu.
Under the leadership of Dr Benson as the MD/CEO, Echo-Scan Services Limited commenced operations in January 1999, with commitment to championing the provision of modern, affordable medical diagnostic solutions in the areas of medical imaging and medical laboratory services. Contributing significantly to health care delivery services in Nigeria, Echo-Scan Services continues to deliver effective and qualitative medical diagnostic services that meet the expectations of a teeming number of practitioners who patronize the Company’s facilities nationwide.
In his quest to provide best practice, global standard Diagnostic Medicine to the Nation, Dr. Benson led Echo-Scan Services Limited to complete a 25million USD acquisition transaction on the 29th of November, 2017 with Integrated Diagnostic Holdings (IDH), an international player in the Diagnostic Healthcare business headquartered in Cairo, Egypt; Man Capital LLP, London; and the IFC an arm of the World Bank, Washington DC USA .
Always a stickler for personal and professional excellence in 2006, Dr. Benson acquired a Masters’ Degree (with Merit) in Medical Imaging from Leeds University, United Kingdom. He went on to gain a Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA in 2011 and a Ph.D. in Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound from the L.U.de.S University Switzerland in 2012. Dr. Benson has also attended management trainings at the Institute of Directors in South Africa and the IMD in Switzerland, in addition to many other conferences, workshops and seminars, acquiring several professional certifications over the years.
Mrs. Grace Benson is an accomplished professional with over 32 years’ cumulative professional experience in Education, Administration and Human Resources.
She attended Kaduna Polytechnic in Kaduna State, Nigeria where she obtained an OND and HND in Tourism and Hotel Management and also PGD in International Relations and Diplomacy, then went on to the Institute of Archaeology & Museum Studies in Jos, Plateau State to pursue a PGD in Museology.
In between her studies, Grace Benson worked for 13 years as an Education Technical Officer and Museum Education Officer at the National Museum, Kaduna State.
Her zeal for personal development led her to Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, UK where she obtained an MSc. (Merit) in Human Resource Management & Business in 2012.
Currently, Mrs. Benson is the DGM Human Resources at Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) where she oversees the Organizational Behavior, Training & Development Units of the Department as well as Employee Relations & Involvement.
He is a seasoned Management Consultant of banking background with vast experience spanning over two decades. He holds Bachelor of Science in Accounting (B.Sc) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). He has attended various courses, Seminars and Workshops locally and internationally.
Prior to going back to consulting practice in June, 2014, Afisu served as a Branch Manager in the bank and later head of Institutional banking group, Kaduna in a top rated commercial bank (FCMB).
He participated in restructuring and management of some reputable organisations among them is Paramount Lifecare Ltd, Lagos, where he acted as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with Health Solve Limited and performed creditably. He has served as consultant to Coalition of Northern States Chambers of Commerce, Industry , Mines and Agriculure (CONSCCIMA) an umbrella of all chambers of commerce in Northern States including Abuja and an affiliate to NACCIMA among other clients .
He has a good mix of strong analytical skills and understanding of different applications of technology required for Information systems environment reviews and controls that add value to corporate goals in Strategic management.
He is happily married with children.
An IT Consultant with vast knowledge in Information Technology, Suleiman Dangana holds a HND in Computer Science, PGD in Information Technology. He is currently undergoing his M.sc in Information Technology. He is a programmer per excellence and has many certifications to his credit.
With Over 10 years of working experience, he has pioneered many innovative software that has assisted in organizational success.
He has also attended courses within and outside Nigeria.
Mr Mordecai Benson is an Economist, a Senior Financial Analyst at Azavar Government Solutions, a tech company that maximizes revenue and compliance for local governments across the United States. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and has robust experience in financial accounting with demonstrable success in financial reporting, financial modelling, data analytics, sales tax audits, electric use tax audits, gas use tax audits, budgeting and forecasting.
A great team player, who possesses strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented mindset.
Ms. Grace Essien holds an MBA in International HRM from Coventry University UK, a BA(Hons) Business & Management from University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom, a Diploma in Business Administration from Inti College in Malaysia and has attended various courses, seminars and workshops within and outside Nigeria.
Grace worked with Tempus Gallery, London as an Administrative Personnel before returning to Nigeria.
Since her return, Grace has worked with Bricks and Mortars Investment Limited in Abuja and Sejann Décor Company, Lagos. Her last role was as a senior Business Development Officer and Consultant with ACDC MGT & Resources Ltd., a project development and financial advisory firm.
Currently a Consultant at Benson Coleman & Associates, Grace spearheads the business and relationship management activities of the Organization and gives strategic direction and leadership to the Team.
Miss Jemima Benson is a Civil Engineer with an Honors degree from Valparaiso University, Indiana, USA. She has experience in Transportation, Structural Engineering and Business Development gained while working with Millhouse Engineering Inc., a mid-sized Civil Engineering company in Chicago.
Currently Jemima works with Stantec Inc, a multinational infrastructure firm in Chicago IL. She has held roles as a Project Coordinator on Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) Red Purple Modernization Project, the largest design build project in CTA history. She currently works as a Roadway Design Engineer working on projects spanning multiple highways in the Chicagoland area. Her knowledge of structural engineering, track alignment, signal and train systems and her robust experience and knowledge of international best practice in logistics, construction and project management adds significant value to BCA’s Project Advisory Service Team.
Mrs. Ann Onyemowo Eichie holds a BSc in Political Science from Nasarawa State University and also a Master in Public Administration.
She worked with Echo Scan Services for about 16 years, where she served in different capacities. In particular, she handled the administrative duties and honed her skills and knowledge in the areas of interfacing with the company’s clients, helping to resolving internal and external client problems and queries as they arise.
She also assisted in identifying and resolving operational problems, such as breach in processes, standard operating procedures and non-compliance with policies and procedures.
Her proclivity to exploring her job environment made her take on ad hoc responsibilities which include, among others, assisting the pathologist and radiologist with clients visits to promote service and customer -centricity. This endeared her to the Management which was evidential by the commendations she received from the Management and the Board of the Service.
